Herrmann Advantage Consulting literally started with a phone call.  With a weekend to establish a legal identity a series of phone calls resulted in the same advice, "Don, with a national reputation, you have to name the business after yourself, you must show the Herrmann Advantage."  That resulted in Herrmann Advantage Consulting, LLC.  Shortly afterward it was pointed out that our acronym was HAC.  While the initial reaction was "uh oh" I soon realized that a HAC was short for a Hack,  "a strategy or technique adopted in order to manage one's time and daily activities in a more efficient way."  So HAC we remain.  Our mission, TO HELP BUSINESS OWNERS AND LEADERS ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SUCCESS .

Don Herrmann, MBA, MCPC, SHRM-SCP is founder and President of Herrmann Advantage Consulting, LLC in Appleton, Wisconsin. He has been a senior level executive for a several companies in multiple industries with both domestic and global responsibilities. Don's industry experience includes distribution, logistics, retail, financial services, construction, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, and defense.

In 2017, he was the recipient of the Joyce Bytof Exceptional Mentor Award presented by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.

He completed a career in the U.S. Army where his duties took him around the globe with unique assignments at the White House, the Pentagon, and the United Nations. He also was visiting faculty at many U.S. Army schools of advanced leadership including the US Army War College, the US Army Command and General Staff College, and the US Army Sergeants Major Academy.

Don has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western Illinois University, a Masters in Business Administration from Brenau University, and additional graduate work with Central Michigan University.

Don is an adjunct faculty member of Marian University where he teaches Management subjects at both the Graduate and Undergraduate level in Organizational Development, Business Operations, and Human Resources. He is also Adjunct Faculty at the University of Phoenix where he teaches Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Risk Management, Compliance, Ethics and Human Resources as well as Lakeland University.

He has served on several Boards of Directors in Higher Education, Not for Profit services and Professional Services .

Don is professionally certified as a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Profesional (SHRM-SCP), Green Belt in Six Sigma, and a Master Certified Professional Coach (MCPC).
